View results

After automation runs, open the run history to review the result.

Check:

  • Whether the run succeeded.
  • Whether the result is useful.
  • Whether it used the right data.
  • Whether the task brief needs adjustment.

If one result is not good enough, update the task brief and run it again.

Pause or resume

Pause automation when you do not want it to keep running.

Pause is useful when:

  • The task is not needed right now.
  • The output is unstable.
  • The frequency is too high.
  • The brand, product, or project data is not ready.

Resume it when you need it again. It will continue using the saved run time.

Edit automation

After creating automation, you can still edit:

  • Name
  • Task brief
  • Run time
  • Role or assistant
  • Notification settings

After each change, run it once to confirm the new settings work.

Notifications and human confirmation

If the team needs to see results quickly, send automation results to a message channel.

For important actions, such as sending external messages, publishing content, or affecting customer communication, use human confirmation. Marcto will prepare the result first, then wait for approval before continuing.

Delete automation

Delete automation only when you are sure you no longer need it. Before deleting, check whether you still need the run history or results.
